Another BioPort Scam?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ed.: Good news! Anthrax vaccinations were just further curtailed with priority allocations of the vaccine are reserved for troops reporting to Middle-East assignments. In the big picture the scam continues. Now, DoD will assist BioPort to renovate. What are the reasons? This author poses several important questions and suggests that concerned taxpayers should get a tour of the facility. I agree.
Wake up! BioPort is being renovated by the taxpayer, so they can underbid all other companies on the new vaccines under development.
It does not take a rocket scientist to validate a filling and packaging line (nor does it take 2 years to validate this process) just follow the FDA guidelines on sterility, environmental testing, time, temperature and labeling.. A company can run three shifts and adequately fill enough vaccine to furnish the numbers of service "people" we have now. Packaging is a no-brainer.
I think a group of concerned taxpayers should request a tour of this facility to verify what is going on. Is this company putting in bioreactor suites (bioreactors are used for virus vaccine production, not bacterial vaccine production)? Is the taxpayer paying for additional fermentors (fermentors are used for bacterial growth for vaccine production)?
Consistent potency testing is always going to be a problem with this product because we're testing a 1970's product with 2000 technology. It's too sensitive. Even if you try to use 1970's testing procedures, titration volumes are now more consistent, yet the product is inconsistent.
I would be more comfortable with an FDA licensed vaccine manufacturer producing the product (at least the sterility would be consistent) and letting BioPort fill the product. (But of course you can contaminate the final product during the filling operation.)
If this company has nothing to hide, then the managers should allow citizen tours and be open to answering questions.
Who are the silent partners of this company anyway?
